The Services
Standard service -
£45 - £65
This service ensures getting your instrument to play and sound its best in its current state of repair and quality. The price varies depending on the specifications of your instrument.
Includes:
Fret and Fretboard clean and condition
Re-string with your supplied string set or choice of strings from my limited stock
Full setup in your desired spec
Electronics clean and small repairs + £-parts
Nut slot filing for optimum break angle and travel
Pickup height
Output jack replacement + £10
Strap button repair
Certain guitars are more time consuming to setup properly, prices will vary.
Premium service -
£75 - £100
This service is aimed at instruments that require improvements to their state of repair or quality and need more than just routine setup work to play and sound as desired, most commonly this takes the form of fret-work. This service includes a standard setup at the end.
Includes:
Fret levelling/dressing/polishing
Fretboard repair + £poa
New nut installation + £40
Pickup replacement
Hardware replacement
Electronics overhaul + £-parts + £40
Pickguard replacement + £60 for custom pickguard if required
Full pocket shims
All Guitars are different and all jobs require different services and levels of skill, attention and time, price can vary if more time is needed for further problem solving or more work (If drilling/routing is required for new hardware/pickups I will charge an extra fee)
More serious repairs - P.O.A
For more serious repairs like headstock snaps, re-fretting and fretboard re-shooting or modifications just get in contact with me for a quote, photos and detailed descriptions always help to price things too.
I aim to have most instruments complete within 7 days, sometimes longer if I am busy, I will always keep you updated as work progresses. If you require your instrument to be finished faster than this please let me know and I will try to accommodate.
Instrument drop off/pickup is by appointment only between Monday - Thursday 10am - 6pm
Custom quotes can be made for certain unlisted services, for example if you’re happy with your current setup but just require a simple pickup swap out.

This SG was suffering a sever case of mold and damp on the fretboard and body, all cleaned properly and finished with wax to prevent further damage from moisture, then set back to gibson factory specs and tweaked for Eb standard.
